Rob Yedor, aka "Chef Dad", is an ex-firefighter/paramedic who started cooking as a rookie in the fire station.
After retiring as a successful businessman at the age of 43, Rob started another business by creating gourmet pasta sauces for supermarket retailers. To promote his new products, Rob did cooking demonstrations on local television using the name “Chef Dad”. After Rob stopped selling those sauces several years later he notified the local media he was done with his TV appearances. The TV studios enjoyed his “connection” with their audience and asked him to keep coming in anyway.
While Chef Dad had become a regular guest on ABC, FOX and KTVK, channel 3 offered him to become a regular with “Chef Dad Sunday” & “Ask Chef Dad” segments. Rob has become very popular with his audience because his recipes are fast, fun and flavorful. Chef Dad not only seems like, but is just like that “nice guy from across the street”.
